In front of the dramatic emergency due to the continuous arrivals of migrants on our coasts, Fondazione Museke decided to reply concretely welcoming eight young men coming from Senegal, Nigeria and Gambia.
This project isn’t thought to be restricted to a basic welcome but it is trying to develop into a real support for the foreigner guests towards the integration and assimilation in the area of Brescia.
Activities:
Literacy course (4 hours per day);
Preparation of a personal folder containing medical records and all the information required by Police Headquarters to fill out the C3. This is a form including all the data concerning personal, familiar, scholastic and work history, moves before arriving in Italy, the reason of escape from the native country;
Preparation of the individual interview with the regional Commission for Asylum Seekers that will verify if the young foreigners are eligible to obtain this status. These data have been collected in the form of expository writing with the help of a cultural and a legal mediator.
